Tranmere story

John Barry Dyson was an English centre-forward born in Oldham. He began with Bury before joining Tranmere Rovers in 1962, where he established his Football League career.

Dyson moved to Crystal Palace in 1966 and later represented Watford, Orient and Colchester United. He finished his playing career with a loan spell at Chelmsford City. Dyson died in Essex in February 1995, aged 52.
